April 4, 2016

On Sunday April 3rd a group of politicians including the Hon Tony Abbott MP and the Hon Angus Taylor MP, was cycling through Yass as part of Pollie Pedal. Pollie Pedal is a key charity bike ride that gets politicians out of Canberra and into communities to raise awareness and funds for important causes. Since 1998, participants of Pollie Pedal have travelled over 17,500 kilometres in support of a variety of charities. In 2016, Pollie Pedal is supporting the work of Carers Australia.

Yass Little Learners was very excited to have Angus and Tony stop to officially open the Centre. Over 80 YLL families and friends attended the afternoon launch and enjoyed mingling and chatting with Tony and Angus after the ceremony.
